Fleet Lagoon, 27th Sept
By day along the Fleet Lagoon produced Ectoedemia louisella, Stigmella incognitella, Bucculatrix maritima (pupae on Sea Aster), Phyllocnistis saligna (mine on Salix), Pexicopia malvella (larvae in Marsh-Mallow), Coleophora asteris (Sea Aster), C. maritimella (Sea Rush), C. salicorniae (Glasswort) & Oak Eggar (larvae).

Arne 26.08
Larval searches at Arne were productive, with Monochroa moyses (Sea Club Rush), Coleophora limoniella (Sea Lavander) and Coleophora maritimella (Sea Rush) were new for me. Also of note were Stigmella samiatella (Sweet Chestnut), S. magdalenae (Rowan), S. sakhalinella (Birch), S. continuella (Birch), Bucculatrix cidarella (Bog Myrtle), Phyllonorycter acerifoliella (Field Maple), P. esperella (Hornbeam), Parornix scoticella (Rowan), P. betulae (Birch) Caloptilia falconipennella (Alder), C. betulicola (Birch), C. populetorum (Birch), Coleophora taeniipennella (Jointed Rush), Cosmopterix scribailella (Reed), Ocnerostoma friesi (Pine) and Swammerdamia caesella (Birch).

Leigh 22nd Sept (farm survey)
36 species.NFY: L album wainscot, green brindled crescent, pink barred sallow. Of interest E.nisella 3, P.heparana, T.acroxantha, N.angustella , A.emergana, and A alstromeriana. (clifden nonpareil 1).I have not caught a Box tree moth yet on the site.

Abbotsbury Swannery 21/09/2020 39 species, including Clepsis spectrana, Acleris sparsana (2), Udea ferrugalis, Vestal, Pinion-streaked Snout (9), Large Wainscot (7), Pink-barred Sallow (2), Sallow (2), Brick, Feathered Brindle (36) & Hedge Rustic.

Portesham 20/09/2020 35 species, including Aproaerema anthyllidella, Archips podana, Grey Pine Carpet, Silver Y (2), Pink-barred Sallow, Centre-barred Sallow (4), Feathered Brindle (2), White-point, and L-album Wainscot (2).

Abbotsbury Gardens 20/09/2020 (w. Luke Phillips and S. Hales) 53 species, including Cedestis subfasciella, Ypsolopha alpella (7), Y. sequella (3), Plutella xylostella (4), Prays ruficeps, Acleris effractana, Silver Y (3), Anomalous, Copper Underwing, Svensson's Copper Underwing, Mervielle du Jour, Sombre Brocade (5), Feathered Brindle (74), Large Ranunculus, Delicate (4), White-point (3), Dark Sword-grass, and Heath Rustic (2).

Portesham 19/09/2020 34 species, including Ostrinia nubialis, Clouded Silver (2nd generation?), Silver Y, Beaded Chestnut, and Centre-barred Sallow.
