While no adult moths for a while (a Double-striped Pug on the 30th of December by day in Weymouth), leafmines seen this week were Ectoedemia septembrella (Upwey - Hypericum), Stigmella aurella (Abbotsbury, Coryates - Bramble), Stigmella tityrella (Upwey, Portesham - Beech), Stigmella hemargyrella (Upwey - Beech), Stigmella suberivora (Abbotsbury - Holm Oak), Coptotriche marginea (Abbotsbury - Bramble), Phyllonorycter messaniella (Upwey, Portesham - Beech), Phyllonorycter maestingella (Upwey - Beech), Cameraria ohridella (Coryates - Horse Chestnut), Acrocercops brongniardella (Abbtosbury - Holm Oak) and Cosmopterix pulchrimella (Portesham - Pellitory-of-the-wall). Also found was the larvae of Epiphyas postvittana on Hypericum (Upwey).
