Flight time: Jul-Nov, overwinters with most Feb-Apr, recorded all months.

Forewing: 6.5-9.5mm.

Similar species: 0689 Agonopterix ciliella.

Hill, L., 2016:

It can be distinguished from the scarce A. ciliella by the single brownish line in the cilia near the base of the hindwing where A. ciliella generally has five.
