Davey, P., 2009: A species restricted to southern and eastern England, the larva feeding on various grasses and deciduous shrubs. In Dorset, the moth is local and confined mainly to the eastern and southern portion of the county where it colonises unimproved grassland, particularly on scrub and bramble-rich sites.
