Davey, P., 2020: Rose Plume Cnaemidophorus rhododactyla: A scarce species restricted to south-east counties of England, the larva feeding on dog rose Rosa canina. There is just a single Dorset record of this distinctive Plume moth, from Trigon on 4 July 2001. On this date, intense immigrant activity originating from central Europe occurred, for example, the second British example of Jubilee Fan-foot 2490 was trapped on the same night at Durlston.
