Species Account


Davey, P., 2020: Hoary Plume Platyptilia isodactylus: : A species with a scattered distribution across the southern half of Britain, the larva feeding on marsh ragwort Senecio aquatica. In Dorset, this species is restricted to water meadow habitat where marsh ragwort grows, notably along the valley floors that channel the lower reaches of the rivers: Frome, Stour and Avon.
